There are many restrictions about what you can send and in many cases; you need to ask what the soldiers actually want. A few no-no's first: No Pork. No Alcohol in any form. No Pornography. No Magazines that depict the human body (male or female) in an undressed state (IE: Swimsuit issues, body building magazines, Victoria's Secret). No weapons of any sort.
Note: Due to concerns for the health and safety of the soldiers, and as much as we don't want to say this, please do not send home-cooked anything to soldiers other then to your relatives or people who know you. Factory packaged only. Sorry. The soldiers are told to throw away anything that is not in a factory package. Since the MTA will be sending these items through the US mail, lighter items are better than heavier items such as large cans of anything, including canned fruits, vegetables, etc. Types of items to donate: Special requests.
