• DMT trial event is for reserve place only. Confirm with JA that ok to manage trial • Synchro as it stands in the policy. Team manager to select second pair • Funding; travel – competitors will be expected to get themselves to competition and to feed themselves. Clothing – Yasmin has complete set of leotards for team for re use & a top will be funded. £2,000 maximum cost for clothing. Southern region to pay entry fee. Officials – Clothing & 4. REGIONAL COMPETITIONS ~ PROTOCOL AND PROCEDURE
• Photos poster, DD to display at each regional competition. Registration no longer required • Shorts rule applies to every age group at every grade. Girls as per BG Trampolining Code of Conduct. Boys leotard & longs from January 2011 (or June & October shorts or longs permitted) BS to clarify length of shorts from International rules. Page 1 of 2
• DD to put out reminder re clothing for next competition • No quality recorders within the region. JP & EW to put on 2hr officiating workshop. £25 p/hr & travel as tutor rate. Southern Region to subsidy and offer FOC to clubs in region. Workshop 10 – 12noon. AGM 12.30pm onwards approx 2pm. Regional committee 2 – 3pm. Alton SPC. Tea & coffee for workshop & sweeties. JP to introduce officials signing in sheet • Received complaint in ref to two competitions in IOW .Considered Carleen’s comments and resume trying to spread competitions across region. This year has been unusual and we are at the mercy of clubs offering venues. EW to copy in Carleen • Age groups reviewed and remain the same 5. NATIONAL SCHOOLS COMPETITION REVIEW
• Janet Payne to take comments to next meeting 6. TRAMPOLINE COACHING COURSES
• Zonal technical upgrade for Level 2 coaches wishing to go onto UKCC L3 technical modules to bridge the skill gap. Look on BG website for date • UKCC upgrade training day is done regionally • Region putting on a Gymnastic Fesitval at Mountbatten Centre July 18th. Any club can volunteer anything to showcase with entry fee. 3 minute slot am & pm. Trampoline stand has been requested ~ possible ideas for the stand = list of clubs in the region, routines for schools & main competitive scheme. JP to liaise with organiser & request support as required. Anyone wanting to advertise • Encourage more trial judging at the beginning of each group at regional level. YL to implement.
